Fairer Funding for Organisations of Persons with Disabilities – A Call to Action.
Join us for the first in our #FairerFunding webinar series!
- Thursday 20 March 2025
- 11.00 – 12.30 GMT (16.30 IST, 14.00 EAT, 06.00 EST)
- Zoom (with International Sign Language and captioning)
We know that disability justice activists are best placed to create positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities. With the recent announcement of the cuts in UK aid and similar reductions in aid around the world, now is the time to ensure that more funding reaches disability justice activists and organisations who know best what needs to be done. Greater flexibility of funding will also give activists the freedom to decide their own agenda and priorities.
Fairer, more flexible funding.
Join us to hear from disability activists and leaders of organisations of persons with disabilities about why fairer, more flexible funding is so vital and so effective. Hear about practical approaches to making this happen and learn about the impact for groups, movements and communities.

Speakers will showcase the transformative impacts of participatory grant-making, present innovative solidarity network models that enhance the impact of unrestricted grants, and explain why fairer funding is vital for activists to set their own priorities and reclaim power.
