The Regional Head of Finance is a key role within the Finance and Operations Department and the wider organisation, providing operational and capacity building support to our Country Offices (CO), and supporting employees at all levels. The Regional Head of Finance will be responsible for helping support the COs to produce accurate consolidated financial statements whilst maintaining strong systems of internal financial controls across the organisation. The role is also responsible for assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes, systems and financial controls across all aspects of the organisation’s activities by undertaking risk-based audits.
Salary: in the region of £20,000 per annum, but will be dependant to a certain extent on location
Location: To be based in a country where ADD has an Office (Bangladesh, Cambodia, Sudan, Tanzania or Uganda), and the successful candidate must have the right to work there.
Reports to: Director of Finance and Operations
Contract: Full-time, permanent contract

We are looking for an experienced finance professional with cross sectorial accounting knowledge and understanding, including at least 5 years’ experience within a similar-sized NGO/INGO multi-country organisation at a supervisory/management level. The postholder will need to be a member of a reputable accountancy body with extensive experience in preparing and managing significant budgets with diverse streams of income and expenditure, both multi-country and multi-partner or consortia.
