Statement Announcing Proposed Structural Changes at ADD International.
As we continue our journey from a traditional INGO into a participatory grant-maker, ADD International is committed to maximising the proportion of resources that reach grassroots disability justice movements and organisations.
To do this effectively, we must ensure our organisational structure is sustainable, resilient and fit for the future, so we are taking measures to restructure, and strengthen our organisational resilience.
Our Mtiririko Strategy sets clear goals for the organisation around how we are working to shift power and resources to grassroots disability justice activists and organisations. We believe these changes will allow us to meet our goals and deliver the greatest long-term impact.
A message from the Co-Chairs.
Vanthon Srey and Liz Sayce, Co-Chairs said:
“As part of our transformation into a participatory grant-maker, we are constantly reviewing our operating model to ensure it is aligned with our strategy and allows us to deliver our long-term goals.
In a challenging funding context, we are taking proactive steps to ensure our operating model remains financially sustainable, resilient and able to deliver the greatest impact.
We recognise organisational change can be difficult and are providing all colleagues whose roles may be affected by the proposed changes with additional support, in line with organisational policies and sector best practice”.
