Disability Justice.

Disability rights activists are leading powerful movements for change. They are asking for your support - on their terms.

Justine is a disability rights activist in Uganda. She explains why lived experience is more important than traditional development practice - putting the power in the hands of people like her.

“Given the challenges I have faced, I wanted to show others that disabled people can work to support ourselves. My ideas are based on the challenges that I go through, so it’s good to support my idea. This is about my own self not an idea from outside. This is about me. This also builds our local activism."

ADD International is changing. We are moving more resources and decision-making to disabled activists whose liberation we exist to support.
