Ghana Federation of the Disabled 

As part of the PolVol project, organised by VSO, Keith Hill MP spent two weeks working with the Ghana Federation of the Disabled (GFD) in September 2008. 

This was very timely for GFD – as after the elation of seeing the Persons with Disability Act passed in 2006 – work in getting the Act implemented has stalled. 

Keith worked with GFD on a strategy on how to strengthen links with Parliament, get the Disability Act implemented and the UN Convention ratified.
